I love creating special pieces, so if you have an idea for something you'd like Button & Bramble to make, I'd love to hear about it!

  • How it works

Custom orders can be anything from choosing a different fabric or colour to creating something completely new.

Send me a message with as much information as you can, including:

  • What you'd like me to make

  • Your preferred size

  • Colours or fabrics you'd like

  • Any personalisation you'd like

  • When you need it by

  • Any photographs or inspiration you'd like me to see

Don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want yet, we can work it out together!

  • Choosing your fabric

I have a collection of fabrics available, but availability can change quickly.

If you've spotted a fabric you'd particularly like, send me a message and I'll let you know whether I have it available or whether I can source something similar.

Please remember that pattern placement may vary depending on where the item is cut from the fabric.

For example, a floral print may have different flowers appearing in different places compared with the original photograph.

  • Quotes

Once we've chatted through your idea, I'll let you know the price before any work begins.

The price will depend on things such as:

  • Materials

  • Size

  • Complexity of the design

  • Personalisation

  • Time required to make the item

I'll also give you an estimated timeframe for completing your order.

No work will begin until the details and price have been agreed.

  • Payment

Custom orders must be paid for before I begin making your item, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Once payment and the final design details have been confirmed, I'll get started!

  • Personalised items

Please take extra care when checking personalised details such as names, dates, colours and measurements before confirming your order.

I'll make the item according to the details you've approved.

Because personalised and custom-made items are created specifically for you, they may not be eligible for the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right where the law allows this exception.

Of course, your statutory rights are still protected if your item is faulty, not as described or otherwise doesn't meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

  • A little handmade disclaimer

Custom orders are handmade, which means the finished piece may have tiny differences from an inspiration photograph or digital mock-up.

I'll always aim to create something as close as reasonably possible to what we've agreed.

Where a particular detail is important to you, we'll discuss it before I start making your item.

  • Need something for a special occasion?

If you need a custom order for a birthday, Christmas, wedding, craft event or other special occasion, please get in touch as early as possible.

I'll always try to accommodate deadlines, but handmade things take time and I don't want to promise a date I can't keep.
