Our campaign
Looking Your Breast
For Breast Cancer Awareness
Our Purpose
Looking Your Breast began earlier in 2026. After mum been given the all clear on her breast and lung cancer, it showed me that despite her having been cured of cancer, that didn’t mean cancer was done with her.
I didn’t realise how much it could affect someone’s entire life. First the diagnosis, the treatment, then you’re left to pick up the pieces of a life that has done a complete U-turn. My mum went from a healthy, happy 39 year old to a woman without breasts, part of her lung, without hair and without dignity. She lost parts of herself to cancer that she is, to this day, trying to find again. Mum is going to have to rediscover herself and learn to love her body in ways she did not think she would ever have to.
Almost all cancer patients have to rediscover life after treatment. Just because you’ve been cured and given the all clear does not mean that everything is fixed. The mental weight is immeasurable. You have to rediscover yourself and move forward not as the person you was before, but as someone new.
Thanks to Weston Park Cancer Charity, mum has been offered counselling, healing therapies, and so much more helpful ways to find a steady path back to who she was and who she will now become.
So, to have a hand in raising money for this incredible charity, I sat and designed my own fabric print on Ibis paint on my mobile phone. With this, we aim to spread the love through handmade accessories that shout about nothing but boobs! All shapes, sizes, colours, scars, and all. Breast cancer will not define us; we decide what does.
